Declan uses science based approaches to his work, and really provides a great value for the price. I've previously had physio and sports massage therapy, which provided though they provided some relief, really didn't go in to explaining what was causing any of the pain etc. With this service, not only do you get a science based examination prior to any treatment, the treatment itself has really improved my back issues. can't recommend enough!

Declan is so knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Sometimes when he explains why my trapped nerve causes pain in certain places, it really reassures me. He explains the exercises brilliantly and I can see a way forward after I meet with Declan each time.

I’ve been working with Dec for several years now. Over that time I’ve had sports massage, cupping, PNF stretching and movement assessments, and he’s also guided me through a rehab plan for hamstring tendinopathy. He’s one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to movement, training and rehab. He doesn’t just treat the bit that hurts—he takes the time to understand what’s going on behind it, then explains it in a way that makes sense and fits around your training and day-to-day life. Dec makes you feel comfortable and always goes above and beyond to help. As a competitive lifter, being able to keep training and moving well is crucial for me, and he’s made a real difference. I’d recommend him to anyone—whether you’re an athlete, train regularly, or just want to move and feel better.

I booked Movement Massage Penwortham for my partner who had been suffering with a sore back for weeks due to his job and excessive driving. I booked in the morning and my partner had the appointment the same afternoon! He came back a new man! Pain had gone, he felt relaxed, relieved and like he was standing taller! Declan was extremely knowledgeable, put my partner at ease throughout and provided the most amazing treatment. He took his time, gave him advice about exercises to do to help prevent problems reoccurring and was just an all round genuine person who really knew what he was doing. I went to movement massage for the first time yesterday!! I have been having bad sciatic nerve pain and symptoms. Also as a swimmer my shoulder and back take a pounding!!
