Everything was explained well in emails before arrival, and very clear on arrival. Sauna was lovely and clean. Perfect relaxing evening.
Visited for the first time with my severely learning disabled adult son who is immunocompromised. Noticed lots of flecks of white grey matter on the surface all over the pool. We swam for a while but I was worried about my son putting his head in the water. I was catching long hair in my fingers and we removed two plasters from the surface and a further red one we left floating as we left water. Was also a really strong smell of chlorine. I’ve tried to find out what the debris was and I have a horrible feeling it might be white water mould which isn’t particularly harmful but breeds in dirty water. I’ve emailed and phoned the estates office and had no response. I now want a refund for both sessions I booked as it isn’t ok to hire the pool out in its current state of cleanliness. We let 2 ladies who were waiting know and they said they would contact someone called Mark but from what I’ve read the pool is going to need a good clean and filtration to remove the mould. Sedgford please get in touch to confirm my refund and that the problem is being dealt with for others. My son is a biologic therapy user and is specifically advised not to use hot tubs for this reason. We thought we would be safe in a “posh pool” but sadly not and I hope he is going to have no issues.

Following your report, we investigated the matter and can confirm that the pool is professionally maintained and cleaned on a weekly basis, with daily checks and cleaning of the poolside and facilities carried out by our team. A pool net is also provided for guests to remove any occasional debris that may appear on the water surface between maintenance visits. We take cleanliness and water quality very seriously and have not identified any issues with the pool's filtration or water treatment systems this morning following your visit. All levels were within range. However, we appreciate that the presence of debris on the water surface likelyhood this was from the previous session was disappointing and detracted from your visit. We have refunded your session in full. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we wish you and your son all the very best.

We booked a one hour swim session for our family which included 2 young children. The facilities were excellent and the pool a great size and temperature. Entrance instructions were very clear and we were able to enjoy our session with no interruptions. I would highly recommend this pool and will definitely be back.

this was everything i needed. me and my partner had the 2 hour sauna and swim session for my birthday, i believe we were one of the first to use it! genuinely so peaceful and good for your body, i felt like a new person coming out. it’s a little garden, i do wish it was more private but i know there is trees planted that will eventually grow making it more private. there’s even a little seating area with wooden chairs, you hear the sound of the birds and cows nearby, it’s truly beautiful. there is an outdoor cold shower just by the sauna cabin, which is super easy to use and amazing for inbetween sessions. we had a cold rinse before going in the sauna, then we went in and used the water bowl and spoon provided to heat up the room. we had to put quite a lot of water in to maintain heat, it was so warm, i think we had it reach 80 degrees and almost 80 humidity. then after 10 mins we rinsed had a cold shower and a gulp of water, then went in again. my partner said he does wish there was a cold plunge pool as that’s a traditional way of using the sauna. the pool afterwards was amazing and just what we needed, even a toilet on the block too which was helpful as it was so close by. we will be back again, i think everybody needs to try this 10/10

Its always wonderful and the lovely eggs outside is perfect. We have been a loyal consumer of your pool for some time now we love it. Just some feedback is the pool was pretty cold this week. But we loved it anyways x
