Hi David, We’re sorry there was a misunderstanding with your booking date. When we called, you explained that you had mistakenly booked on the wrong day. Unfortunately, as your room and sauna had already been fully prepared and heated in advance, our no-show deposit policy had to be applied. We always aim to be fair with all and wish you all the best. I attend solara on a fairly regular basis. The sauna and the cold plunge. Absolutely first class facilities in terms of modernisation and cleanliness. Great to relax after the working week and recharge the batteries on weekends. Always well looked after by Charlie and the staff also. Anyone who hasn’t tried this yet even just do it one time for the experience - Danny Gallagher

Great experiences, private and just what im after. The Sauna is one the best ive been in with the heat rising to the desired temperature for a good detox. Ive just become a member and look forward to many more visit here. 💪

Had some time to kill from an appt in Letterkenny so treated myself to a infrared sauna & cold plunge to reset my day. I read of the benefits of both online so wanted to experience it myself. I arrived early and used the ample parking outside to rest up before my appt. Charlie was welcoming and allowed me start earlier than my appt and walked me through the setup and process to get the most from my appt. The room was spacious and spotless with lots of room for your gear and to move between the sauna, shower, and cold plunge and great mood lighting and aesthetics to make it a pleasant experience. I managed two rounds of sauna, shower, and cold plunge in my allotted time and got braver each time on the cold plunge portion. The shower facilities and products meant I left refreshed and squeaky clean! I had a lovely chat with Charlie after the session about the business and how people are taking to this new way to look after themselves. I experienced the effects of the session for the rest of the day which was nice. I would highly recommend Solara as a great way to treat yourself at an affordable and wish Charlie and his family success in the future. I plan to add a visit to Solara into my Derry agenda next time I visit.
